The First Plenary Meeting of the Cross-Regional Science and Technology Innovation Center for High-Value Utilization of Specialty Products from Jilin Province

On February 4, 2026, the first plenary meeting of the Jilin Province Specialty High-Value Utilization Cross-Regional Science and Technology Innovation Center was successfully held in Huinan, Jilin Province. With the theme “Jointly Discussing Innovative Paths for High-Value Utilization of Jilin’s Specialty Products and Co-building a Cross-Regional Collaborative Development Ecosystem,” the meeting focused on pooling collaborative innovation efforts among industry, academia, and research institutions, summarizing previous achievements, outlining key tasks for the future, and driving the center’s development to a new, comprehensive stage.
This conference is hosted by Jilin Haotai Health Industry Development Co., Ltd. and co-organized by Haotai Health Jisheng (Jilin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It receives strong support from numerous universities and related institutions, including Jilin Institute of Commerce, Ocean University of China, Yantai University, Nanjing University of Technology, and Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Experts and professors from universities, as well as senior technical personnel and managers from enterprises, have gathered together to explore development pathways for the high-value utilization of specialty resources and cross-regional collaborative innovation.
The meeting kicked off with a speech by Yin Jinlong, Chairman of Jilin Haotai Health Industry Development Co., Ltd. and Professor at Jilin Institute of Commerce. He outlined the original aspiration and mission behind the establishment of the center, emphasized the crucial role of industry-academia-research collaboration in the transformation and upgrading of regional specialty industries, and expressed high hopes for future collaborative development.
Subsequently, Professor Wang Xumin from Yantai University systematically introduced the center’s mission, development goals, and core tasks, clearly outlining the direction and priorities for collaborative innovation for the participating institutions. After a group photo session, the meeting moved on to the working report segment, during which several experts shared in-depth insights into the progress of key projects.

● Professor Liu Weizhi from Ocean University of China presents the research findings on “Construction of a Dedicated Marine Bioenzyme Library”;
● Professor Li Ming from Ocean University of China shares key breakthroughs in the development of a new preparation process for low-molecular-weight heparin;
● Professor Zhu Zhaolian from Nanjing University of Technology elaborates on the green technological approach for the resource-based treatment of wastewater generated from heparin production.
● Xue Haiwen, Director of International Sales at Jilin Haotai Health Industry Development Co., Ltd., analyzes the “International Market Situation for Pharmaceutical Intermediates”;
● Yin Jinlong, Chairman of Jilin Haotai Health Industry Development Co., Ltd. and Professor at Jilin Institute of Commerce and Industry, provided a comprehensive outlook on the “15th Five-Year Plan for the Collaborative Innovation Center,” outlining a clear blueprint for the center’s next stage of development.
This meeting featured substantive content and ample exchanges. It not only summarized the initial stage achievements in the center’s development but also clarified the task assignments and cooperation mechanisms for key projects, further strengthening the collaborative ties among all participating institutions. The meeting emphasized that we should take this opportunity as a starting point to continuously integrate resources, focus on tackling critical technologies, accelerate the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, and jointly build a high-level, cross-regional innovation system for the sustainable utilization of specialty agricultural resources.
The meeting concluded successfully in an atmosphere of pragmatism, efficiency, and solidarity, injecting new momentum and revitalizing the high-value utilization of Jilin Province’s specialty products as well as cross-regional technological collaborative innovation.
