A complex glycosaminoglycan drug extracted from porcine small intestinal mucosa, with a molecular weight between 3000 and 30000. Heparin cannot currently be artificially synthesized. Heparin sodium is the sodium salt of heparin, and as a natural anticoagulant, it is valued worldwide. It is widely used in various surgeries and treatments, such as cardiovascular surgery, joint replacement, and dialysis, and is the first-line anticoagulant drug in clinical practice. In addition, heparin is an effective drug in hemodialysis treatment and plays an irreplaceable role.
